During the month of October Northern Light Foundation (NLF) conducted various projects in Standerton which included painting dangerous crossings and cleaning projects.
Cleaning projects was launched by Northern Light Foundation in the following areas; on the corner of Coligny Street and the R39 where more than 25 bags of refuse were removed, another cleaning project on the R546 up to Esdoorn was undertaken where more than 45 Bags of refuse was removed.
Northern Light Foundation also launched our weekly River Park cleaning project where NLF will focus on cleaning Standerton’s Riverpark on a weekly basis. During the month of October approximately 400 bags of refuse were removed from the river park.
Northern Light Foundation also painted dangerous stop signs in Standerton at the following streets: Von Backstrom and Beyers Naude Street on the way to Standerton High School.
