During the month of July Northern Light Foundation (NLF) assisted the Standerton community in different ways, ensuring the residents of Standerton can enjoy safer roads throughout the town.

Northern Light Foundation assisted Lekwa Cleanup Crew, other organizations and companies with the ongoing pothole repair project in the town with 3 laborers for the past two months of this project.

Northern Light also launched their newest project that will focus on painting dangerous road crossings in Standerton.

The project will be divided into different phases, during phase one NLF will focus on busy intersections in Standerton especially around schools, hospitals, churches and main roads within Sanderton.

During phase two NLF will focus on crossings in the CBD (Central Business District) Phase three of this project will focus on crossings in residential areas and other road markings.

NLF started painting in Berg Street in front of Standerton High School. During August 2021 NLF will focus on Von Backstrom Street, and the streets around Standerton Hospital.
