During the month of September Northern Light Foundation (NLF) ensured road safety and a cleaner community in Standerton.

A cleaning project was launched by Northern Light Foundation cleaning the fields next to the main road on the R39 from The Junction shopping centre towards the Sasol garage on the R546 and until the Secunda crossing, where more than 110 bags of refuse was removed during phase one of this project. During phase two of this Project, the grass in the fields will be cut.

Northern Light Foundation painted dangerous road crossings (speedhumps), and stop signs in Standerton at the following streets: Joubert Street, Esdoorn Street and Impala Street.

A special thanks to all our members for their contributions, as well as Paints Africa for the road marking paint, and Lekwa Clean up crew for collecting the refuse bags during our cleaning project.
